Strategy
This strategy targets Lineage Support drops, a class of reward that can each sell for 100 or more Divine Orbs. The most valuable ones in the current patch sit around 114 Divines for Rockyata’s Flow, with another swirl type pushing into the 150 to 160 Divine range, so a single good drop can fund an entire build.
The method revolves around anomaly maps that appear inside your Atlas world. These are special swirl nodes themed by terrain, and each terrain ties to a different Lineage Support. The two worth chasing are the water swirl and the desert swirl, since they carry the highest-value supports. There are four anomaly types in total, including a vampire-pool variant, but the water and desert ones are the priority.
It suits players who already have a mapping character and want a high-ceiling currency target rather than steady grinding. It pairs cleanly with other mechanics, so you can layer it on top of Abyss, strongboxes, or breach and farm it almost passively while you clear maps.
Atlas Tree & Setup
The core is the Jado section of the Atlas tree. Complete his quest line to unlock all four of his points, then prioritize two nodes:
- Unforeseen Threats: gives a 5% chance on completing a map for a nearby anomaly to be revealed. Because the reveal lands near where you are already mapping, you do not have to travel across the Atlas to chase it.
- Untold Histories: 35% chance to find Lineage Supports, and pinnacle bosses gain increased chance to drop them (they also take less damage). This is the single most important drop-rate node.
Switch off the 20% more random extra content node in favor of Untold Histories. Partial Translations is also strong: it doubles the effect of explicit modifiers on tablets, so loading tablets with increased quantity of waystones found helps sustain map running. Keen Appraisal (50% extra exceptional items from rogue exiles) is a minor bonus. Exact node names and tablet priorities are worth confirming against the source video.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low · Returns: high · how it scales: the floor cost is just your atlas points and ordinary waystones, so entry is cheap. Returns scale with how many anomaly maps you generate and how fast you clear them; each boss kill at a water or desert swirl is a roll at a 100+ Divine support. Faster clear speed and stacking quantity tablets directly increase divines per hour.
Step-by-step
- Complete the Jado quest line and allocate Unforeseen Threats and Untold Histories; turn off the random extra content node.
- Roll tablets that grant increased quantity of waystones found and lean on Partial Translations to double their effect.
- Run maps normally; the 5% reveal chance will surface anomaly swirls near your current location.
- When an anomaly is revealed, clear the swirl objectives, sometimes one totem, sometimes all three, to unlock the map.
- Enter the unlocked anomaly map and clear to the boss; prioritize the water and desert swirls for the highest-value supports.
- Kill the boss for the Lineage Support roll, then move to the next reveal and repeat.
- Optionally layer Abyss, strongboxes, or breach on the same tree to farm extra currency while you hunt.
Risks
- The reveal chance is only 5% per map and the drop is only 35%, so results are streaky; expect dry stretches between big hits.
- High-value supports are not guaranteed even at a water or desert swirl; the creator killed a boss on camera and got nothing.
- Anomaly bosses can be tough fights, and the multi-stage variant resets on death, so survivability and clear speed matter.
- Lineage Support prices are volatile; the 100+ Divine valuations can shift as supply grows over the patch.
