Strategy

Temple farming is back as one of the strongest currency strategies in 0.5. Instead of the long room chains that defined 0.4, the current meta — pioneered by temple specialist Milky BK — focuses on a handful of highly profitable rooms so each temple run finishes in just a few minutes. The core profit comes from building level three (and above) Smithy rooms, which upgrade into Golden Forge and Immaculate Forge and drop special temple currency: Catalysing Infusers (roughly three divines each) and Vaal Armour Infusers (about two per divine). On a developed-but-imperfect temple the creator reported 67 divines from a single 60-crystal run in ~22–24 minutes, and around 106 divines per hour running non-stop — with a realistic expected range of 50–150 div/hr once your temple is built.

Atlas Tree & Setup

Build toward Aziri and place the Architect in a strong corner position (top-left or top-right of a zone); you can re-kill the Architect a few times to reposition him, and you should avoid adding other rooms until he’s placed well. From there, seed basic Smithies at the start of your path, boost them with Golem Workshops to start small chains, then drop a Generator to push Smithies to level three. Protect the Smithy chains with Armories and Garrison zones, and continuously bait destabilisation by scattering unconnected random rooms on top. A second Generator is worth keeping as insurance if your main one gets destabilised. Specifics of node/room placement should be confirmed against the source video.

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: mid — temple tablets run 2–5 divines (crystal-bonus variants), or ~20 exalts for basic tablets; the temple itself is built up over time from runs.
  • Returns: high — 50–150 divines per hour on a developed temple; ~106 div/hr reported.
  • Scaling: more level-three Smithy chains = more profit. Use Medallions (plus-one room level) to push distant Smithies that the Generator/Golem can’t reach to level three.

Step-by-step

  1. Path to Aziri and place the Architect in a top corner; don’t add other rooms yet.
  2. Add basic Smithies, boost with Golem Workshops, then place a Generator to reach level three Smithies.
  3. Protect Smithy chains with Armories/Garrisons; scatter unconnected random rooms to bait destabilisation.
  4. Farm Medallions to level up far Smithies to level three; aim for two complete chains plus one extra.
  5. Stack crystals using tablets with “chance to gain an additional crystal from Vaal beacons” (up to ~8%); combine with atlas boss-rush maps.
  6. When running, clear ONLY the level-three Smithy rooms, then exit and restart immediately to maximise divines per hour.

Risks

  • Destabilisation is a constant RNG fight — the more rooms you add, the higher it climbs, so you cannot fill the whole temple anymore.
  • Crystal-bonus tablets can spike in price; fall back to basic temple tablets if they get too expensive.
  • Profit depends on a well-developed temple; early temples yield much less until the Smithy chains mature.
