[PoE 2] HUGE Profit in BREACH: 3 Farming Strategies - Farm Guide + Atlas Tree - Path of Exile 2

Strategy

With Abyss nerfed and Ritual overcrowded, Breach has quietly become one of the most profitable and lowest-effort farms in the current patch. The value comes from the high prices of Breach bases, Breach rings, and catalysts — River Catalyst alone trades at roughly one Divine per 3.5, and several other catalysts sit between 2 and 10 Exalted each. Because the profit is driven by Womb Gifts dropped from Breaches rather than by killing tanky rares, you can clear maps extremely fast and still bank currency.

This guide covers three ways to farm Breach: a cheap, beginner-friendly catalyst farm; a riskier high-investment ring farm; and a classic monster-effectiveness loot farm. The catalyst version is the recommended starting point — it is cheap, simple, and consistent.

Atlas Tree & Setup

You do not need the full Breach tree. Take the 30% increased effectiveness of rare Breach monsters node and pick your Womb Gift type for the strategy you want: Lavish for catalysts, Ornate for amulets, Signet for rings. On the breeding/birth tree go left to Complete Refinement so you birth only catalysts, then grab additional duplicates, additional different catalysts, and additional item chance. For the atlas master, Doryani (chance for clean/corrupted, evolutionary presence) or Jado both work. Note the creator flags several birth nodes (flask rejection / Chyula’s catalyst) as currently bugged, so skip those for now. Specifics to confirm against the source video.

Investment & Returns

Investment: low for the catalyst farm (no full tree, any waystone works); high and RNG-heavy for the ilvl 82 ring farm (needs corrupted Waste-tier 16 maps)
Returns: a decent few Divines per hour, scaling with catalyst prices (Sibilant ~10ex, River ~22ex, Tools ~8ex)
Tablets: run Breach tablets for quantity of Womb Gifts (triple-stack), or two gift-quantity plus one Hive Blood quantity if you run dry

Step-by-step

Spec the minimal Breach tree and pick Lavish Womb Gifts for the catalyst farm.
Slot Breach tablets focused on Womb Gift quantity (and Hive Blood quantity if needed).
Run maps, clear Breaches as fast as possible, and loot every Lavish Womb Gift — aim for more than one per minute.
Bring Lavish gifts to the birth tree and birth catalysts using Complete Refinement plus duplicate/different-catalyst nodes.
Bulk-sell catalysts; progress your atlas (citadels, Lineage gem parts) on the side.

Risks

Profit is luck-dependent — catalyst birthing is RNG
The ring farm needs corrupted Waste-tier 16 maps and is significantly more expensive and risky
Several birth/atlas nodes are currently bugged; retest before committing points
Catalyst prices will fall as more players farm Breach, so returns are time-sensitive
