Strategy
Expedition Rush is a low-prep way to chase lucky Expedition drops. Instead of rune stacking, you enter Grand Expeditions, scan every runic remnant, claim anything valuable and leave. If nothing is worth taking, place one explosive and exit. Regular maps on the way are treated the same way: check the guaranteed remnants, take good rewards, kill the boss and move on.
The method suits fast characters. It needs almost no investment because maps are not juiced at all. On top of steady remnant rewards, it gives repeated chances at rare jackpots such as 10-slot rune remnants, Uhtred’s Omen and the runic fork quest item. In the creator’s one-hour test, about 2–3 divines of prep returned around 50–65 divines once lucky one-offs were excluded. A 10-slot remnant pushed one hour to roughly 248 divines.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Atlas: take the Forest choice and the Lineage Supports choice (All Roads maps can drop lineage support gems). Other choices barely matter.
- Atlas master: Jado.
- Maps: any rarity, with no juicing required.
- Logbooks: use them on every ship icon. Run the All Roads saga together with the Uhtred saga; All Roads drops valuable uniques, fragments and lineage gems, which covers the small cost.
- Island rumours: Fallen Stars give a guaranteed Perfect Flux worth a lot.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low (about 2–3 div per hour in maps and logbooks)
- Returns: mid (roughly 50–65 div/hr baseline in the creator’s tests) with occasional jackpots
- Scales with movement speed and clear speed; slow characters lose most of the value
Step-by-step
- Enter a Grand Expedition and quickly check every runic remnant.
- If any reward is worth more than about one Annulment, play it, collect the reward and leave.
- If nothing is valuable, place one explosive and leave.
- In regular maps, check the guaranteed remnant the same way, then kill the boss.
- Run All Roads and Uhtred maps when they appear.
- Optionally use Liquid Verisium on worthless remnants.
- Save valuable maps (many-slot remnants, ambush strongboxes, sacred spirit maps) for dedicated rune-stacking or strongbox strategies.
Risks
- Profit relies heavily on luck; the big numbers came from rare drops
- Slow characters will not make it worthwhile
- The runic fork quest item is extremely rare from Uhtred and may take 100+ runs
- Prices quoted are from the creator’s league snapshot and will drift
