Strategy
Simulacrum Splinter farming through Delirium fog, workable from about T11 maps even when your build is not finished. Splinters stack into a Simulacrum fragment (around 2.5 Divine Orbs in mid-September, so a single splinter is worth a couple of Exalted-level chunks), they are easy to accumulate, and their price tends to hold up late into the league — which makes this a method you can run from early mapping to the end.
The fog also helps navigation: following its flow points toward the boss and the correct branch of a map. Inside the fog monsters gain 100% modifiers and drop more, so general loot improves too. The trade-off is tougher, harder-hitting enemies — if T15 feels rough, drop a tier.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Progress the Delirium storyline (to the left of the starting position) and clear the story Simulacrum; it can be retried freely, so you can zombie it. This unlocks the key Delirium atlas passive.
- Ideally unlock the central Fortress passive tree for increased tablet effect.
- Unlock Jado as your atlas master and take his third-row Partial Translation node (Jado unlocks by clearing Anomaly maps).
- Buy three Delirium tablets with increased splinter stack size, ideally 23%+. With the 30% tablet-effect passive this reaches roughly 91% total, and a decent Partial Translation roll pushes it past 100%. A waystone-quantity suffix is a nice bonus.
- City biome maps near the Fortress take a fourth tablet, pushing splinter stack size to 150–200%.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low (cheap tablets are enough; stack size caps at 300 per drop)
- Returns: mid — anywhere from double digits to 200+ splinters per map
- Scaling: a juiced version with ~8 Divine of tablets returned about 445 splinters (one Simulacrum plus 145) in one map, paying for itself in roughly two maps
Step-by-step
- Select Jado with Partial Translation; slot your three stack-size tablets; any waystone works (take Jado’s corrupted-waystone node if you run corrupted ones).
- Confirm the map shows splinter stack size above 100%.
- Enter through the Delirium mirror and clear, breaking every shard and shattering mirror — purple shards spawn the large gorilla-like Delirium rares that drop the most splinters.
- Kill Delirium unique monsters; skip the red-shard portals.
- When the meter fills, kill the boss, keep breaking nearby mirrors, then fast-forward or leave the fog to collect all splinters at once.
- Grand Mirrors that appear on nearby maps have two bosses — run them lightly juiced, then spread their fog to purified or city maps. Above 100% difficulty, Simulacrums can spawn with high-value drops.
Risks
- Heavily luck-dependent: gorilla spawn count decides the haul
- Fog monsters and double-boss Grand Mirror maps are much tougher than normal maps
- A failed Simulacrum in the atlas gives no reward, unlike the story version
- Juiced tablets with rare-monster prefixes get expensive quickly
