Strategy

This is a low-currency crafting flip for players who have only five to ten Divines to their name and want a repeatable way to grow it. The method uses the Omen of Putrefaction on cheap boot bases, then desecrates them into sellable rare boots. Even a month into the league it is still printing, because the demand for good energy-shield boots with movement speed never dries up. If you don’t even have the starting few Divines, a breach-farming run will get you there first, then you roll that into this craft.

The target base is undesecrated, unrevealed Sekhema Sandals at item level 82. They can be bought for as little as a Chaos to a few Exalted Orbs, and there are always plenty on the market, so you can pick up 20+ at a time for almost nothing. The whole appeal is that the floor cost is tiny while a single lucky pair can sell for 20–35 Divines.

Atlas Tree & Setup

No atlas tree is involved — this is a bench/desecrate craft, not a map farm. Per pair the sequence is: quality the boots to 20%, use an Artificer’s Orb to add a socket rune, make the base rare, activate the Omen of Putrefaction, shoot Preserved Remains onto the boots, then desecrate with Abyssal Echoes to reroll modifiers. Finish with iron runes (normal or perfect) before listing. Specifics to confirm against the source video.

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: low — without Abyssal Echoes a batch of ~12 pairs costs around 1.5 Divines; using Echoes pushes a single pair toward ~20 Divines of materials.
  • Returns: mid — typical sellable pairs go for 5–35 Divines; the creator cleared roughly 50 Divines profit in one session, and an all-T1 pair can fetch 100–150 Divines.
  • Scaling: skip Abyssal Echoes and roll many cheap bases for a slower, lower-variance grind, or spend Echoes to fast-track the good ones.

Step-by-step

  1. Buy undesecrated, unrevealed Sekhema Sandals at item level 82 (1c–10ex each); grab 20+.
  2. Quality each pair to 20%, add a socket with an Artificer’s Orb, then make it rare.
  3. Activate the Omen of Putrefaction and apply Preserved Remains.
  4. Desecrate with Abyssal Echoes, targeting prefixes of high ES, mana, and 30%+ movement speed.
  5. For suffixes look for intelligence, rarity, and all-elemental resistances.
  6. Don’t be greedy — stop desecrating a pair once movement speed is too low or it bricks, to save Echoes.
  7. Add iron runes, price-check, and list. Sell bricked bases to recover some cost.

Risks

  • Variance is real — many pairs brick before you hit a clean one.
  • Abyssal Echoes are the main cost sink; over-using them on a mediocre base eats your margin.
  • Helmets were tested and did NOT pay off — stick to the Sekhema Sandals boots.
  • Prices shift as the league ages; price-check before committing to a batch.
