Strategy
Most players ignore summoning circles, but a single Atlas node turns them into a reliable Fracturing Orb target-farm. The node From Distant Shores Untold gives summoning-circle bosses (that carry an additional modifier, in cleansed areas) a 5% chance to drop a Fracturing Orb. Because Fracturing Orbs only get more valuable as a league progresses, this is a durable currency strategy that isn’t heavily contested. The creator netted around 112 divines over two testing streams, with Fracturing Orbs as the primary income and tablets plus incidental mechanics as bonus.
The plan: create as many summoning-circle bosses as possible, force them to gain an extra modifier, and run them inside cleansed areas.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Mandatory node is From Distant Shores Untold (fracturing orbs from summoning-circle bosses) plus all nearby cleansed-area nodes. Take Overlord’s Domain (guarantees a summoning circle in areas with a powerful map boss) and The Chosen Path (more summoning circles). For tablets, run three: one Overseer’s tablet, one Irradiated, and a third of your choice (Irradiated recommended). The must-have modifiers are “Maps contain an additional summoning circle” (aim for three extra, giving four circles per map with Overlord’s Domain) and “unique monsters have an additional rare modifier” — you only need one of the latter, since it satisfies the node’s extra-modifier condition.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — ~2.5-3 div per 10 maps (unique-mod tablet 60-100x, overseer 10-50x, plus recouped alchs/vaals/exalts).
- Returns: high — ~112 div net across testing; averaged 2.5-3 Fracturing Orbs per 10 maps plus tablet and mechanic revenue.
Step-by-step
- Find a corrupted area and clear its corrupted nexus to cleanse it — the white crystal nodes are your target maps.
- Set up the Atlas nodes and the three-tablet configuration above.
- In each map, complete the summoning circle encounter FIRST — do not click activation stones early.
- After completing it, activate each stone one at a time (each makes a checkpoint), return to the circle checkpoint, spawn and kill each boss.
- Full-clear the map too — cleansed-area monsters and the occasional Immured Fury also drop Fracturing Orbs.
Risks
- Requires finding and cleansing corrupted areas, which can be awkwardly placed.
- Needs upper-Atlas progression (cleansed-area and summoning-circle nodes).
- Backtracking between activation stones and the circle adds time per map (~6-15 min depending on build speed).
