Strategy
This 0.5.5 strategy stacks Azmeri spirits (wisps) and funnels them into strongboxes and expedition encounters. Two sacred spirits are the targets. The Cunning Fox upgrades monsters one rarity step (normal to magic, magic to rare, rare to unique). The Spring Hare gives monsters a chance to revive and makes possessed enemies release extra spirits when they die. Killing possessed monsters keeps spawning more spirits, so a single lucky map can snowball to around ten spirit types stacked on each strongbox.
Each spirit adds a large amount of item rarity, reportedly around 200% per spirit. On top of player and map rarity, the monsters in a juiced map end up with thousands of percent rarity. The creator reports maps with over 100 unique monsters, roughly 23–50 divines of raw drops in good maps, and chase uniques such as Headhunter and Mageblood dropping for them or their viewers.
The creator runs two versions. The cheap key-farming setup (about 20 divines per map) uses inexpensive tablets and relies on fishing for a sacred spirit. It also farms Cryptic Keys from rare strongbox monsters, 20–30 keys per map, which sell well. The expensive “hunting” setup (about 100 divines per map) uses premium tablets for guaranteed extra spirits and strongboxes, but a map with no sacred spirit loses heavily. The creator recommends the cheap setup for consistency.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Atlas passives: take essentially everything, including the notable that splits a rare monster into additional rare monsters. Choose Desert (or Mountain for rarity/quantity tablets) plus the Grass biome bonus that gives Azmeri spirits a chance to become sacred, and Forest
- Spirit tree: spirits dematerialize when no player is nearby (stops them respawning), monsters possessed by a sacred spirit also get a random spirit, map-boss possession, Vivid wildwood choice, additional spirits over strongboxes
- Strongbox tree: strongboxes can open twice, no extra prefixes needed
- Expedition tree: complete the quest line for all points; take the temporal/runic quantity node, remnant monster rarity, and the node that doubles strongboxes in expedition areas. Max delirium for the juiced version
- Tablets: extra Azmeri spirits and extra strongboxes, with increased remnants and monster rarity rolls. Expedition tablets with the new “contains two buried strongboxes” modifier are key
- Maps: use omens to slam five mods with guaranteed monster rarity, add an exalted orb for more rarity or effectiveness, and corrupt in bulk looking for T16/eight-mod results. City-type areas take extra tablets; cheap Wildwood slams add further areas
Exact node names should be confirmed against the source video.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid for the ~20 div key-farming variant; high for the ~100 div hunting variant. Bring large stacks of Exalted Orbs (100–200), Orbs of Alchemy (~100) and Cryptic Keys to roll and reopen strongboxes
- Returns: high. The creator reports ~80 divines profit per map on the cheap setup in strong runs, plus 20–30 keys per map
- Scaling: every extra spirit and strongbox multiplies rarity; more spirits also mean more chances to roll a sacred Fox or Hare
Step-by-step
- Complete the Atlas, spirit, strongbox and expedition quest lines so every relevant passive is unlocked
- Craft or buy tablets with additional spirits, strongboxes and monster rarity
- Roll maps with rarity and pack size, then corrupt for extra mods
- In the map, hunt for a sacred Cunning Fox or Spring Hare and kill possessed monsters to chain-release more spirits
- Guide the spirits onto strongboxes, then open them (using keys and currency to reopen)
- Run the expedition last, opening its buried strongboxes before and after exploring
- Sell surplus Cryptic Keys and divine drops; repeat
Risks
- Heavily RNG: a map without a sacred spirit returns far less, especially on the expensive setup
- Stacked spirits make strongbox monsters very tanky and dense, so a strong endgame build is required
- Keys and good tablets are in high demand and their prices can shift quickly
- The creator notes the strategy is still being tested and some atlas choices may need adjustment
