Strategy
This is a pair of budget-friendly Divine Orb farms for the casual player, built so you never have to risk a five-Divine buy-in to maybe profit. Each strategy caps its investment at roughly 1 to 30 Exalted Orbs and still prints Divines through high-value drops. They work well in 0.5 because the underlying loot sources — boss fragments and ritual tribute — scale off cheap, repeatable map setups rather than expensive league-mechanic stacking.
The first strategy farms bosses for fragments: Argent Cradle, Argent Spark, and the ancient/faded/weathered crisis fragments from Citadel bosses. A single Argent Cradle can sell for around three Divines, and these bosses reliably drop more than one. The second strategy farms Ritual tribute to buy out Omens and uniques, then chains Audiences with the King and Crooks of Nothingness for even bigger payouts. Both are aimed at players who want strong, consistent returns without gambling their stash.
Atlas Tree & Setup
For the boss-fragment farm you want maps with at least 90% (ideally 105%+) Waystone drop chance — Tier 15 is fine, you do not need Tier 16. Roll magic maps with Alchemy then Exalt up to ~105%. Use three tablets that grant increased quantity of Waystones found, with one Irradiated tablet for +1 monster level. Unlock the atlas nodes that let tablets upgrade to rare with extra modifiers (one mid-tree, one after the Arbiter of Divinity), and the City nodes so V-City maps accept a fourth tablet. For the Ritual farm, take Tainted Rituals (more belts/charms/flasks — Mageblood and Headhunter territory), the toughened-revived-monster nodes for more tribute, and run Doryani for a bonus revival. Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — roughly 1 to 30 Exalted Orbs per cycle (maps, tablets, an optional Audience buy-in at ~28 Ex)
- Returns: high — the creator cites 10, 20, even 30 Divine Orbs per hour, not counting bonus loot
- Scaling: stack more Waystone-quantity tablets, force V-City fourth-tablet slots, and chain Audiences/Crooks for compounding tribute
Step-by-step
- Travel your atlas to find clustered Citadels and Patriarch/Matriarch Halls (often 10–15 maps apart). Slam Tier 1 maps to zoom between them fast.
- For each boss, run a 90%+ Waystone map with three quantity tablets (one Irradiated) and Doryani for a bonus revival; kill the boss for multiple fragments.
- On V-City Citadel maps, add a fourth Waystone-quantity tablet for extra fragment drops.
- For the Ritual farm, run fully-juiced Tier 15 maps with Ritual tablets, stacking altars and reviving rogue exiles for tribute.
- Buy out Omens (Resurgence, Ancients) and cheap uniques, then sell Audiences with the King (~20 Ex each) or pin a Crook of Nothingness head at K’Teath and boost five City maps for the big payout.
Risks
- High-Waystone maps roll dangerous monster mods — check the map before entering and keep a revival in reserve
- Citadel/boss density depends on your atlas RNG; you may travel a while to find good clusters
- Ritual setup is fiddly (tree choices, tablet stacking) and the big Crook/Audience payoffs are variable
- Requires the atlas progression (Arbiter kill, City nodes) before it reaches full efficiency
