This is a comprehensive breach currency-farming guide for patch 0.5, covering every major way to profit from the mechanic. Breach is one of the most reliable money-makers in the game right now because almost any character can run it — the basic version is easy content, and the returns come mostly from Hive Blood and Wound Gifts cashed out on the Genesis tree rather than from risky high-end map juicing.
The guide splits into three approaches: a raw-currency setup that farms loot directly from the rare monsters a stabilized breach spawns, a Hive Blood farming setup (the creator’s recommended best strategy), and a Wound Gift farming setup for when you have Hive Blood to spare but no gifts left. All three feed the same payoff — spending on the Genesis tree, where Catalysts are the most consistent currency source by far.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Use Doryani or Jada as the Atlas master; the creator prefers Doryani for the cleansed-map chance, which can drop Fracturing Orbs (around four to five divines each). On Doryani, take Evolutionary Pressure (maps irradiated, extra waystone modifier, cleansed-or-corrupted). Best biomes are City (extra tablet), Desert, and Grass (both give effectiveness). For the raw-currency strat, run two tablets with “additional rare monsters when the breach stabilizes” plus a unique Rayclass besieged breach tablet (check for increased pack size). For Hive Blood farming, run three tablets with Hive Blood quantity, ideally with effectiveness and Wound Gift quantity. Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid — Hive Blood tablets are cheap (~50 exalts each), but rare-monster tablets for the raw-currency strat can reach ~1 divine each
- Returns: high — Refined Catalysts can sell for hundreds of exalts each; a short session can yield 11-12+ divines of Catalysts alone
- Scaling: ~1,600-1,900 Hive Blood per breach on Doryani; ten maps nets roughly 60,000 Hive Blood to cash out
Step-by-step
- Pick your Atlas master (Doryani recommended) and set the breach/effectiveness notes.
- Slot three tablets — Hive Blood quantity for the recommended strat, ideally with effectiveness and Wound Gift quantity.
- Run maps (any biome works; City/Desert/Grass are best) and clear breaches to farm Hive Blood and Wound Gifts.
- On the Genesis tree, spend Lavish Wound Gifts first on the Catalyst line (surpassing chance into Refined/jewel Catalysts, no blockers).
- Once Wound Gifts run out, spend remaining Hive Blood on the amulet tree (target Absent amulets) and the ring tree (target Pneumonic rings).
- Sell Catalysts and crafted bases for consistent divine income.
Risks
- The 200%-delirium variant offers the best returns but is extremely hard — only very strong builds can run it; stick to plain breach otherwise
- Prices fluctuate; as breach grows in popularity, Catalyst and amulet values may drop
- Rare-monster tablets for the raw-currency strat are pricey and less consistent than Hive Blood farming
- Minion-belt and big-fracture payouts are lottery-tier — do not rely on them
