Strategy

This is a boss-rush Atlas strategy rather than a map-clearing one. Instead of full-clearing maps or leaning on rarity gear and expensive tablets, you pick one direction on the Atlas and push that way, treating ordinary maps purely as travel. The money comes from boss-access zones you uncover along the route: breach boss areas, the Crux of the Nothingness (which gates the King in the Mists), and the Matriarch’s and Patriarch’s halls. Cheap entrance items get converted into fragments and guaranteed boss drops, repeatedly.

It works this patch because the entry costs for those zones are low relative to what the bosses drop. A breach stone or an Audience with the King is a small outlay next to the fragments, lineage supports, and boss pieces that come back out. Because the investment is so low, the strategy does not collapse when prices move — it just returns less per hour.

It suits players who value movement speed over screen-clearing damage. You do not need a build that deletes packs; you need one that reaches a boss quickly, kills it safely, and leaves without backtracking. A fast character can push this toward the high end; a slower one still profits, just at a lower rate.

Atlas Tree & Setup

Start from your Fortress, pick a single direction, and keep connecting maps that way. You are optimising for reach and boss-zone access, not layout quality.

  • Erinyi is the main Atlas utility while rushing: Hidden Patterns gives a chance on map completion to open a nearby map, letting you jump across the Atlas faster, and Herald of Snakes gives powerful map bosses a chance to reveal a nearby Citadel. Since you are already killing every boss, this is close to free value.
  • Yamanra is a boss-zone swap: if you have the bonus that increases your chance to find lineage supports, swap to it before a breach boss, then swap back to Erinyi afterwards.
  • Delirium is optional. A cheap delirium tablet while rushing lets map bosses killed in the fog give nearby maps a chance to become Grand Mirror maps. Skip it entirely if you do not have those Atlas points — the strategy works without this layer.
  • Keep the entrance items in your inventory at all times: breach stones for breach boss areas, Audience with the King for the Crux of the Nothingness. Discovering a zone and then leaving to buy the item wastes the run’s tempo.

Exact Atlas node paths beyond these should be confirmed against the source video.

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: low. Basic waystones for travel maps, a cheap irradiated tablet with waystone quantity for Matriarch/Patriarch zones, a simple breach stone with some item rarity for the King in the Mists, and the entrance items themselves.
  • Returns: high relative to that cost — the creator reports up to roughly 30 divine per hour on a fast character. A slower build earns proportionally less because every map takes longer.
  • Scaling comes almost entirely from movement and kill speed, not from gear rarity. The other lever is waystone drop chance in the Matriarch and Patriarch zones: around 95% is workable, 105% or higher is better, because a higher roll more often yields two fragments instead of one and doubles the profit from a single fight.
  • Stable income: breach boss drops, guaranteed King in the Mists drops (notably the Head of the King), Matriarch/Patriarch fragments such as Origin Cradle, and occasional Citadel rewards. Bonus income: lucky jewels, extra fragments, valuable side maps, and Grand Mirror maps banked for later.

Step-by-step

  1. Start at your Fortress and commit to one Atlas direction — right, left, whichever — and keep pushing that way.
  2. Run ordinary maps as travel only: enter, move straight to the boss, kill it, leave. Do not full-clear unless something obviously valuable is directly in front of you.
  3. Run Erinyi for the Atlas reveals and the extra connection chances while doing this.
  4. Keep breach stones and Audience with the King in your inventory at all times.
  5. When a breach boss area, Crux of the Nothingness, Matriarch’s Hall, Patriarch’s Hall, or Citadel-style zone appears, head straight for it.
  6. At a breach boss: optionally swap to Yamanra for lineage support chance, use your breach stone, rush the boss, then swap back.
  7. At the Crux of the Nothingness: use Audience with the King and run the encounter on a basic breach stone with some item rarity and a decent modifier count. Do not over-invest.
  8. At Matriarch/Patriarch halls: use a stronger waystone with high waystone drop chance, and stack cheap irradiated tablets rolled around 36–40% increased waystone quantity.
  9. Bank Grand Mirror maps rather than running them now — they are worth more in a later strategy where double tablet effect matters.
  10. Repeat: rush, reveal, convert cheap entries into boss drops.

Risks

  • Profit is price-dependent. Check the market before starting: the strategy is strongest when there is a wide gap between entry-item cost and fragment value. If entry costs rise or fragment prices crash, divine per hour drops.
  • Variance is real per-run. Some bosses drop the minimum, some double their fragments. Do not judge the method on one or two maps.
  • The main failure mode is over-clearing. Stopping for side mechanics and full clears drops profit per hour hard.
  • A slow character caps the ceiling. This method rewards movement speed more than damage, and there is no way to buy around that.
