Strategy
This breach method is built around Hiveblood, not item rarity. You clear as many breaches as possible, turn the Hiveblood into Lavish Womb Gifts, and birth catalysts to sell. Your own rarity has no effect on the Hiveblood you collect, so the method works on a character with no magic find at all. In the creator’s test, 300,000 Hiveblood over 51 maps produced about 91 divines worth of catalysts, roughly 27 divines per 100k Hiveblood.
The key is balancing Hiveblood against Womb Gifts. One tablet setup (at least 30% increased Hiveblood plus 50% increased Womb Gifts) is self-sustaining: you find about as many Lavish Womb Gifts as you have Hiveblood to birth. The alternative runs cheaper tablets with 50% increased Hiveblood only, buys Womb Gifts from the market, and roughly doubles the Hiveblood per city map. As long as a Lavish Womb Gift costs well below its roughly 56 exalt average return, buying them is still profitable.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Atlas master: take the node that increases the effect of explicit modifiers on tablets. Nothing else in that tree meaningfully affects Hiveblood
- Optional: the corrupted-waystone node for an extra random map modifier (alch, exalt, then corrupt your waystones)
- Tablets: run the maximum number your map allows (three on regular maps, four on city maps)
- Roll your own tablets with transmute → augment → regal → exalt, and alchemy anything that misses. Use a tablet regex site (linked in the video) to highlight the Hiveblood and Womb Gift mods
- Currency (Womb Gift) tree: lock birth to catalysts, pick the expensive jewel catalysts, then take every “surpassing chance to birth an additional catalyst of the same type” node
- When buying tablets, filter for 10 uses remaining; low-use listings are a common scam
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low. Tablets cost roughly 2–6 divines per 10 maps, plus any Womb Gifts you buy
- Returns: high. About 11 div/hr at 7-minute maps, around 19–25 div/hr at 3–4 minutes, and up to about 40 div/hr with the max-Hiveblood tablet plus bought Womb Gifts
- Scaling: clear speed is the biggest multiplier, and city maps roughly double Hiveblood per map
Step-by-step
- Set the atlas master to boost explicit tablet modifier effect.
- Buy or craft tablets with increased Hiveblood (and Womb Gifts if you want to self-sustain).
- Run breach maps, prioritising city maps, and clear every breach as fast as possible.
- Collect Hiveblood and Womb Gifts; switch tablet strategies whenever one resource piles up.
- Birth Lavish Womb Gifts on the catalyst tree and sell the catalysts.
- Optional: group up so each player clears one breach. Every extra player adds rarity and item quantity, but monsters get tougher too.
Risks
- Profit depends on catalyst and Womb Gift prices, which can change quickly
- Returns depend heavily on your build’s clear speed; slow characters earn much less per hour
- Group play raises monster toughness, so each breach becomes harder to clear
- The other Womb Gift trees (belts, amulets, rings) are much swingier than the catalyst tree
