Strategy
This is a set of three low-setup currency strategies aimed at players who have just reached the endgame with a build that is not yet strong enough for heavily juiced content. None of the three demand a completed Atlas or an expensive tablet stock, and two of them work with essentially no preparation at all. The goal is to bank the first few divines so you can actually gear the character.
All three benefit from recent patch changes. Trials of Chaos now runs to thirty rounds off a single invitation, the Atziri temple can be rushed rather than fully built out, and Abyss trenches spawn more visibly on maps than they used to. Together that makes early-endgame currency generation much less gated than it was.
The creator flags these explicitly as starter strategies — a heavier juicing guide is promised as a follow-up — so treat them as a bridge rather than a destination.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Trials of Chaos needs nothing at all. No Atlas progression, no tablets — just invitations, which are currently cheap enough to enter with a handful of exalts.
Atziri Temple Rush needs only enough map exploration to gather connection materials, then you link rooms into a direct path to Atziri and lock it with medallions from any other rooms. To min-max it you complete the Atlas by killing the Avatar of Duality twice and pass through the city-tile maps, then run temple tablets. On the Atlas tree take Atziri’s Wealth first (temple currency), then Riches of the Empire (15% chance to duplicate dropped temple currency).
Abyss is the most tree-dependent of the three. Take Chosen Path option 2 for rogue exiles, Overlord’s Domain rogue exile for an extra one on powerful map bosses, and Legendary Duels for a guaranteed unique jewellery drop type. On the Abyss tree take Vile Treasures (omens), Lords of the Pit option 1 so pits scatter across the map, and Balance of Power Olaman for currency from the abyss itself.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — a handful of exalts for Trial invitations; nothing mandatory for the temple rush; a few chaos for Abyss tablets
- Returns: mid — steady divines per session, with Trial-master Adorned drops and rogue-exile jewels as the jackpot outcomes
- Scaling: all three min-max substantially later. Temple tablets with the Vaal-beacon crystal modifier, an Overseer tablet with an additional rogue exile, and abyss-count tablets are the natural upgrades
Step-by-step
- Trials of Chaos — buy invitations cheaply and enter. Across the first ten rounds, look for divine orb rewards and take the options that double rewards in exchange for danger; most of the dangerous afflictions were toned down this patch.
- At the tenth round, use the totem that amplifies a random currency type — if you are holding a divine and it asks for exalts to upgrade it, take the trade.
- Continue to round thirty, then collect the stacked payout. You face the Trial Master on every completed run, so Adorned drops are a recurring chance; unidentified copies still sell for divines.
- Atziri Temple Rush — build a direct corridor to Atziri rather than developing the whole temple, keeping the middle safe so the temple does not break.
- Reach the Architect Chamber, place a key, lock rooms with medallions, and go straight to Atziri.
- If you are investing, verify temple tablets have uses remaining before buying — used tablets are a common bait listing.
- Abyss — set the Atlas and Abyss trees for rogue exiles plus Vile Treasures and Balance of Power Olaman, then run maps normally.
- Let abyss pits spawn on or near where rogue exiles are standing so the exiles get corrupted — that is what produces the high-value jewel drops.
Risks
- Trial invitation prices were depressed by recent bug abuse and will correct upward
- The temple can close and break if you do not keep the middle path protected while connecting rooms
- Rogue exiles cannot be dragged into abyss pits, so a bad pit layout wastes the whole abyss setup
- Trial rounds still scale in danger — a thirty-round run is a real time and currency loss if you die late
